Based in Norwood-Young America, Minnesota, bandleader and trumpeter Ivan Kahle and his popular Old-Tyme Band for 56 years provided dance music at ballrooms in four states. In 1993 The Ivan Kahle Band, the only one from Minnesota, was privileged to entertain the Presidential party on The Mall at The U.S. Capital in Washinton D. C.
