The Minnesota Music Hall of Fame, located in New Ulm Minnesota, is offering an opportunity for a high school or college-age student to participate in an internship with the museum. The museum is open from April until November each year, inducts six new musical artists every year (including music educators), and recognizes and honors musicians who “contributed significantly to the Minnesota music scene in all genres of music.” The museum is housed in a beautiful Moderne-style building on Broadway Street in New Ulm, and boasts the induction of Minnesota musicians such as Prince, Bob Dylan, The Andrews Sisters, and Whoopee John Wilfahrt, among many others.

Ideal candidates for the internship would:
– Be of high school or college age.
– Be interested in a career in music or music marketing.
– Have an interest in promotion and public relations of Minnesota music.
– Have familiarity with social media platforms and be interested in establishing connections with other arts-related organizations.
– Be able to meet a couple times during the seven months the museum is open, with the rest of any contact being able to be managed remotely.

This is a unique opportunity and resume addition for the individual pursuing the internship.
