Jack Schultz of Ceylon, Minnesota began playing concertina at the age of 16. In the early 1950’s he began the Jack Schultz Orchestra, playing drums, concertina, trombone, and doing vocals. For the past 35 years the Orchestra has entertained thousands of dancers, traveled over 100,000 miles a year, and won numerous awards. They hold the record at the Kato Ballroom in Mankato for playing 56 performances in one year- the most by any band in one years time.
