The Minnesota Orchestra has been recognized as one of America’s leading Symphony Orchestras. There have been 12 different Music Directors since its inception in 1903. Noted for pioneering recordings of orchestral performances, The Minnesota Orchestra started recording in 1923. Consisting of 95 members, The Minnesota Orchestra makes its home at Orchestra Hall in downtown Minneapolis.
