Born in Faribault, Minnesota, Philip Brunelle, founder and Artistic Director of The Plymouth Music Series of Minnesota, is an internationally-renowned organist, conductor, choral scholar, and performer. His conducting engagements span the globe. Brunelle studied at The University of Minnesota and has been involved with The Minnesota Orchestra and The Minnesota Opera. Brunelle is a creator of VocalEssence, a choral music organization based in Minneapolis. Believing that listeners and musicians alike should continue to explore and experience music of many genres and styles, Brunelle has worked tirelessly to educate audiences about the joys of this exploration by recording works and by guest appearances on radio and workshops and seminars.
