Raymond H. Meidl

From New Ulm, Minnesota, Ray Meidl played violin and clarinet in the New Ulm High School Band. He was a member and directed The New Ulm Symphony Orchestra, played with The Fenzel Band, and preformed with and directed The 25 Infantry Band, which was a unit of The Minnesota National Guard. After graduating from MacPhail School of Music in Minneapolis, he enjoyed a long career as a music teacher and Band Director of Holy Trinity School in New Ulm. His career also included Director of The New Ulm Municipal Band, Director of The Celian Choir, and was a partner in musical instrument retailers Brown and Meidl Music Store in New Ulm.
