The Minnesota Over 60 Band

Based in Gaylord, The Minnesota Over-60 Band had its beginning in 1953 when the Sibley County Senior Citizens were invited to show their hobbies at the annual meeting. Mayor at the time, Otto Zarnott, organized some friends with their instruments and they decided to “blow” instead of “show”. They perform up to 35 parades and concerts each Summer throughout the state.
