The Dale Warland Singers

The Dale Warland Singers were recognized as one of the world’s foremost and successful acappella choral ensembles, and for 32 years of concerts, tours, radio broadcasts, and critically acclaimed recordings. The Grammy-nominated 40-voice choir toured throughout the United States and abroad from 1972-2004 and collaborated with other Twin Cities art organizations and under the batons of a number of conductors. Dale Warland, born in 1932, is a celebrated American musician, conductor, and composer, and has made an indelible impression on the landscape of contemporary choral music both nationally and internationally. During his time with the Dale Warland Singers, he shaped a vocal ensemble known for its exquisite sound, technical finesses, and stylistic range. Since the closing of the Dale Warland Singers organization in 2004, Warland remains active as a teacher, composer, conductor, and producer.
