Tony played accordion since he was seven years old. Beginning in the 1950\u2019s and 60\u2019s he established his career as a club entertainer at many Twin Cities clubs. In 1963 he had his own television show The Polka Jamboree<\/em> on WTCN-TV (now named KARE 11) airing on Sunday nights In the Twin Cities. The show was popular, rating second only to top-rated television program Lassie<\/em> and Tony’s show lasted for two seasons. Jambor recorded a handful of albums including Polka Jambor-ee<\/em> for major-label Decca Records.
