An accomplished musician, he had perfect pitch and wrote and arranged music for orchestra and smaller groups. Keith\u2019s instruments include trumpet, cornet, fluegelhorn, valve trombone, and piano. He had his own band The Flames and later organized the Keith Reese Trio, based in New Ulm and traveled a seven-state area. Keith played with many bands over the years and toured across the USA, Europe, and Canada.
