The Land of Lakes Choirboys<\/p>\n

The Land of Lake Choirboys was founded in 1976 as part of a bi-centennial celebration for the city of Elk River, Minnesota. 18 boys gathered for their first choir practice under the direction of Craig Carmody-Anderson. The choir grew to an organization of over 100 boys making up six different choirs. The choir has toured 48 states (including Hawaii), Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and nine European countries. In June 1999 they were the only Boys Choir outside of Germany to receive the honor of opening the International Bach Festival and received a 10-minute standing ovation. They continued to awe and inspire audiences with their unique sound and vast repertoire ranging from baroque to modern day hits until the choir was dissolved in 2022.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
