A member of the enigmatic roots group The Sorry Muthas, Bill&#8217;s Minneapolis musical profile grew in the early 1970s. In partnership with his wife Judy Larson, he was a regular performer on the Minnesota Public Radio program <em>A Prairie Home Companion<\/em> during the first two years of broadcast in the mid-1970s.
