J. Halling and<br \/>\naccompanist Ted Pelzl. Their first rehearsals, held in the Masonic Hall in New Ulm, were well-remembered by charter member, Dr. Kurt Bell. Over the years the Concord Singers have made many radio<br \/>\nand television appearances. In 1946 they were partially supported by the City of New<br \/>\nUlm and have been &#8220;New Ulm&#8217;s Ambassadors&#8221; ever since. The all-male singing group adopted their present festive<br \/>\nGerman music format in 1972 with the addition of accordion and instrumental<br \/>\naccompaniment. The Concord Singers, numbering about 40 vocalists, have made several tours to Europe, Canada, the West Coast, Texas, Wisconsin, Michigan, and several other states. They have released at least half-a-dozen albums on vinyl, cassette, and compact disc.
